Have you ever felt happiness and worry in one day? I lived one of the strangest moments of my life when I went to U.S. embassy to get a visa. It was very important moment for me and I was waiting this time more than six month. A day full of hope became into a worry, because my chances to get a visa were less than fifty percents.
The day before I couldn’t slept well, all night I was thinking about next day. That day I woke up at seven a.m. My sister had gotten ready all my staff and my breakfast. Step by step I started to collect my documents and to wear my clothes. After an hour I was ready to go. I went to the embassy with my sister, I felt that she was worrying about me more than myself. After two hours we arrived to the embassy and I went to the waiting room. It was very comfortable, small room with a couple sofas and TV, which was broadcasting about American life and Americans. There were six people and I was seventh. I was waiting my turn about thirty minutes, at that time feelings were so strong that Idid not understand what was going on. I was exited, worried and at the same time I was full of hope. Finally, I heard my name “Aziz Satarov”, a couple minutes later I god first question from council “ why you are going to U.S.?” at that time I felt confident in myself. After some of the questions I understood that I reached the first step of my goal.
I thankful for this chance, because it changed my life. I learned that we have to think in positive way to have success in life.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you were able to have a good experience coming here and learn from it!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that we can meet in Seattle. It's difficult to get visa for me too. =)We are lucky
ReplyDeleteOMG, I surprised that you had been waiting the visa for more than six month. In fact, I just decided to study abroad without high school degree in September of last year. And I did all the procedures and got visa for 1 month. However, It was also difficult for me to get visa, especially in my country - Vietnam. You know the day when I interviewed, there were about few hundred people, and just about 50 people could pass. I am lucky to be here, in the US and write a comment for you like this. :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I like your avatar =)) It looks kul !!
ReplyDeleteI wonder why there were a few people in US Embassy on that day. In Vietnam, there are over 50 people who go there everyday ....
